Over the years, we have impacted the lives of thousands of men, women and children through our various programs. We're proud of the positive impact we have made in their lives. We have partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for our annual "Healing Our Kids" Benefit Concert.
We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services to those in need.
The Spiritual Therapy Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides support and resources to children, seniors and families affected by health issues, socio-economic hardships & trauma. We are excited to announce our upcoming 1st Annual βHealing Our Kidsβ benefit concert.
Lead & Background Singer (Soprano/Alto)
Spiritual Therapy was founded and co-founded by Clayton Savage and Terrance Reed in June 2013, to bring more than singing to the local churches and surrounding communities. "We massage the ailing souls and wounded spirits with fiery praise", to inspire testimony and uplifting hands for God's glory.
Since our commencement we've achieved thus claim by performing at several local edifices such as churches, halls, and Charles H. Wright G.M. Theatre performing in 2014 and again in 2018 as guest artists for the Twisted Society of Secret Storytellers (a NPR sponsored event) and The Contemporary Artist Gallery. Supporting service advocacy groups such as Zonta International, Sisters Network and the M.O.T.H.E.R.S. Group to name a few. Spiritual Therapy has also participated in a talent show at the Music Hall Jazz Cafe' placing second among 14 other performers being the only gospel group. We have also shared our musical talents with the Alpha Manor Nursing Home and Southeastern High School.
Our future goal is to evolve into a professional group without losing our spiritual and divine connection with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To follow Him into diverse environments, whether it's rich or poor, plenty or depleted, enhanced or blighted. It was shared with love from the blood of Jesus. "Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:40) "The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." (James 5:15)
We know that we can achieve this because "we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us." (Philippians 4:13)/ In October, 2017 we engaged unto the recording community and successfully completed an EP called βGodβs Testimonyβ. This CD is a seed we sowed to create a harvest (fundraisers), to support and edify Spiritual Therapyβs mission. Meanwhile, we continue this mission of singing to souls releasing a sound from Glory to break every chain, bridge any gap, and set a cornerstone so that any man who seeks God can stand as a pillar.
Spiritual Therapy was established in June 2013. However subsequently βThe Spiritual Therapy Foundationβ was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non profit public charity in 2019. It is an organization focused on providing uplifting musical performances to local churches, nursing homes, shelters for the homeless, shelters for victims of domestic violence, empowerment groups for men and women, Alzheimer communities, hospitals and assisted living communities, through various musically talented individuals formed as a group to uplift the spirits of people who may be unable to physically and independently attend a live musical concert.
The Spiritual Therapy Foundationβs mission is to βmassage ailing souls and wounded spirits with fiery praiseβ while uplifting and contributing to the well-being of those in attendance, providing a memorable experience relatable to all individuals through the gift of music which is known to be βcommon languageβ of the world.
With each performance, members of the group take time to interact, including a brief meet and greet with the audience in a caring and thoughtful manner, offering a compassionate smile and words of encouragement.
