Born in Detroit, singing since the age of 5, a devoted Christian and now a recording artist. This math equals Ruth Luckett-Watts. It is believed that when Ruth left her mother’s womb and the doctor spanked her, Ruth cried: Jesus! Which coincidently is the name of her first CD “Jesus” released in 2002.
Then there was a CD to follow giving God the praise, released in 2011 called “Magnify the Lord” as well as singles entitled “Christmas Journey” and “Take A Look in The Mirror”. Ruth has also lead worship teams for various churches as well as singing with Spiritual Therapy leading a revised song by Sam Cooke “A Change Is Gonna Come” in 2018.
Ruth says she is just a vessel to be used by God. Singing is a way of offering up praise to our most high God.
